Into Africa

Into Africa

Near, well sorta, Moi Bridge in Western Kenya. We went to visit Alice’s Mother who lives with the youngest son in the family. We drove back down to Moi Bridge and then took a left onto a dirt and gravel road. This road was a really good road to drive on much better than the paved road we left. Anyway, we drove a long way and when we got to the farm, I was amazed. It was like a little shot of paradise right there in the middle of Kenya. Alice’s mother didn’t speak any English and I really don’t remember what she said, but I really enjoyed myself while I was there. This picture is me with some kids coming back from school that day. No matter where you go in Kenya, kids wear uniforms to school, which I really like.
