There are days when life can get a little much, but then the day ends and it’s a new day.
There are days when you begin to think that absolutely no one cares a rip about you. The phone doesn’t ring, no text messages etc. But it doesn’t stop you from picking up the phone and calling someone.
There are days when you just want to take off and not come back. Go exploring and see different places, but you don’t go because there is no one who’ll go with you right there and then.
There are days when you need to go see your Dad, but you just don’t think you can handle seeing him fail a little more every time you cross over into his assisted living facility. But you go anyway and in some way you are blessed during your visit.
There are days when you just want to pull out your hair for various reasons but don’t dare touch the hair on your head. Because enough has fallen out over the last 54 years, and being bald isn’t the look you are going for.
Then there are days when the sun shines brightly and the air is clean. Days that mean all is well in my own little world even though at times it doesn’t. I write all of this because it’s important to remember there are days that are difficult, but not all days will be. The next day is just around the corner, and so is the sun (no matter what form it is in).
